The hydraulic submersible pump (HSP) is a true positive displacement, low to mid volume pump that will not gas lock. Developed from field experience, this pump was designed specially to address problems encountered with other artificial lift systems. The pump’s unique design allows the motor to be located on the surface, rather than downhole – this avoids the added risk of having a motor downhole.
