Cormorant Engineering Hydraulic Dewatering Systems

Cormorant Engineering has developed dewatering systems for gas wells which are hydraulically operated. The pumps can be run "through tubing" (TT) on a single coiled tubing (CT) string filled with hydraulic fluid and seated in a seating nipple at the bottom of the production tubing. They can also be run "through casing" (TC) in a well without production tubing. TC pumps are run on a FLATpak composed of two CT strings, one for the hydraulic fluid and one for the pumped water. The systems are comprised of 3 major components: Hydraulic Dewatering Pump, Coiled Tubing String (CTS) or Dual CTS FLATpak and a Surface Hydraulic Power Unit.
